1. Celebration of Eid
Narrated Anas ibn Malik (RA):
“The Prophet (ﷺ) came to Medina and saw the people celebrating two days. He said, ‘What are these two days?’ They said, ‘We used to celebrate them in the pre-Islamic period.’ The Prophet said, ‘Allah has replaced them with two better days: Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.'”

2. Takbeer on Eid
Narrated Ibn Umar (RA):
“The Prophet (ﷺ) would come out on the day of Eid and loudly say the Takbeer until he reached the prayer place, and he would continue to say it until the prayer started.”

3. Spreading Joy on Eid
Narrated Aisha (RA):
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered my house and two young girls were singing. The Prophet lay down on the bed and turned his face. Then Abu Bakr came in and said, ‘Musical instruments of Satan in the house of the Messenger of Allah!’ The Prophet said, ‘Let them be, O Abu Bakr, for every nation has a festival, and this is our festival (Eid).’

4. Attending the Eid Prayer
Narrated Umm Atiyyah (RA):
“We were ordered to go out on the day of Eid, even the virgin girls staying in seclusion and menstruating women, to witness the good and the supplications of the Muslims.”
