Make Marriage Easy, Block the Path to Zina
Many of my classmates are drowning in a sea of sins—through their eyes, ears, speech, and thoughts—carrying mountains of temptation (fitnah) on their shoulders.
To them I say: Brother, get married!
They reply:
“My parents won’t agree.”
“I don’t have a house.”
“I don’t have money.”
“I’m too shy to say anything.”
“I’m not established yet, I haven’t gotten a job.”
Yet, they continue to drown in the ocean of fitnah.
And at the end of the day, they say, “Pray for me, brother, that Allah shows me a way to get married.”
And I think to myself: Allah has already shown the way—
“Those among you who can support a wife should marry…” (Sahih Bukhari)
Worried about sustenance?
Allah says:
“If they are poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty.” (Surah An-Nur: 32)
So fall in prostration before Allah and say from the depths of your heart:
“O my Lord, I can’t speak to my parents—please soften their hearts.
Make my current condition favorable for marriage.”
The question is: Do we want to follow Allah’s path, or do we let society’s barriers and our own fears control us?
✅ Make marriage easy.
✅ Conquer your desires.
✅ Shut the door to zina.
✅ Revive the Sunnah.
✅ Protect yourself, your family, and your society.
Let us be a little braver, a little more God-fearing, and a little more realistic.
