Ruqyah for Evil Eye & Jin – Islamic Healing Methods, Symptoms & Ruqyah Bath Guide

Ruqyah for Evil Eye

Method 1:
If it is known who has cast the evil eye, then it will be sufficient to follow the hadith of Sahl ibn Hunayf (RA).

That is, the person who cast the evil eye will be asked to perform wudu, the water of that wudu will be collected in a container, then that water will be poured over the body of the afflicted person. Then the evil eye will be removed, in shaa Allah. For example, if you think that your baby has been affected by a guest’s evil eye (even though the guest did not intend to), then you should ask the guest to perform wudu or take his wudu water and pour it over your baby’s body. In shaa Allah, the baby will be cured.

With this method, generally the effect of evil eye goes away in one attempt. However, if necessary, it may need to be done for 2–3 days. And yes! In many cases, after pouring this wudu water, there comes a strong urge for stool or urine, once that happens, Alhamdulillah the person becomes cured.

Question: Should the water of rinsing the mouth (kuli) also be collected?

Answer: Although in one hadith there is mention of rinsing the mouth, but even if not taken, there is no problem. In most cases, just taking the water used for washing the hands and face of one person and pouring it on another person is enough to remove the evil eye.

In many cases, it is not possible to tell someone directly to give the water, in that situation you can invite him, and before eating give him a container to wash hands, and that water can be poured on the afflicted person’s body.

Unasked Question 2: What if one’s own evil eye affects oneself?
Answer: Then he should perform wudu, collect the water, and then pour it on his own body.

Method 2:

And if you do not know who has cast the evil eye on you, or if the problem has been going on for many days, or if many people’s eyes have affected you, then you can follow this method. This method is suggested as self-ruqyah for evil eye.

1. Recite the ruqyah verses every day or listen to them. If direct recitation is not possible, then listen to audio recordings.

2. And take ruqyah baths every day. (The method of bathing is explained shortly.)

It is best to recite the ruqyah verses yourself. Therefore, if your recitation is correct, then recite the ruqyah verses. If not, then listen to the audio.
If reading from PDF is difficult or if listening to audio makes you sleepy, then you can recite directly from the Qur’an while looking at it.

(From there you can listen to “Evil Eye” or “Eye Hasad.” In addition, you may also listen to the half-hour ruqyah by Sa’ad Al-Ghamidi. Whichever you listen to, while listening you should keep the intention…)

I am doing ruqyah for evil eye. If there is a problem of jinn’s evil eye, then along with this you should also listen to the “8 Surah Ruqyah” audio. If you are reciting yourself, then read the “General Ruqyah Verses” PDF.

If you have any problem, then you will physically feel its effect. For example: you will feel extreme sleepiness, may have headache, may feel like biting hands and feet, heartbeat may increase, body may sweat, may urinate frequently – etc. etc.
But still continue listening, try to stay awake if you feel sleepy. And if you cannot and fall asleep, then there is nothing to worry about. And once the problem is solved, you will start to feel good in shaa Allah! There is no reason to worry.

And if after listening with attention several times you feel no effect at all, then Alhamdulillah you have no problem. If you had a problem, then by listening to ruqyah you would definitely feel its effect.

The method of ruqyah bath is as follows –

Take a bucket of water, then dip both hands in that water and recite:
Durood Shareef, Surah al-Fatiha, Ayat al-Kursi, the Four Quls (Kafirun, Ikhlas, Falaq, Nas) each 7 times. At the end again recite Durood Shareef 7 times.

Note:

  1. After reciting, raise your hands and then bathe with the water. Do not blow into the water after reciting these, just bathe normally.

  2. If the toilet and bathroom are together, then these must be recited outside and then bathe with the water.

  3. If on some day there is little time, then you may omit Surah Kafirun and recite Durood Shareef 3 times. Or after reciting, just blow into the water and bathe. (But in this way the benefit may be less.)

  4. If you first bathe with this ruqyah water and then wash again with other water thoroughly, there is no problem.

  5. If the afflicted person cannot recite, then someone else may place hands in the water and recite, then the afflicted person should bathe with that water.

  6. It is best to first listen to ruqyah and then go to bathe. If it is not possible to listen before bathing, then there is no problem, you may listen at any time of the day, in shaa Allah.

  7. I discourage leaving the ruqyah bath and only listening to audio. In that case, the hardship is more but the benefit may be less.

In short, listen to ruqyah every day and perform ruqyah bath according to the above method. Depending on the problem, it may take 3–7 days. If the problem seems more, you may continue for 21 days.

If the problem is small, sometimes even in one day it gets cured. But even after getting cured, it is better to continue for 2–3 days.
