Dua Between Two Sujood #2
اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ، وَارْحَمْنِيْ، وَاهْدِنِيْ، وَاجْبُرْنِيْ، وَعَافِنِيْ، وَارْزُقْنِيْ، وَارْفَعْنِيْ
O Allah! Forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, mend my affairs, grant me safety, provide for me, and raise my rank.
Allahummaghfir lee, warhamnee, wahdinee, wajburnee, wa ‘aafinee, warzuqnee, warfa‘nee

Dua in Sujood after Reciting a Verse of Prostration #1
سَجَدَ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِيْ خَلَقَهٗ، وَشَقَّ سَمْعَهٗ وَبَصَرَهٗ بِحَوْلِهٖ وَقُوَّتِهٖ، فَتَبَارَكَ اللّٰهُ اَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِيْنَ
My face has prostrated to the One Who created it, and by His might and power gave it hearing and sight. Blessed is Allah, the Best of Creators.
Sajada wajhiya lilladhi khalaqahu, wa shaqqa sam‘ahu wa basarahu, bi hawlihi wa quwwatihi, fatabaarakallahu ahsanul-khaaliqeen
Tirmidhi, 2/474, No. 3425; Ahmad 6/30; No. 24022; Al-Hakim declared it authentic and Adh-Dhahabi agreed, 1/220; and the additional part is from him. The verse is from Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:14).

اَللّٰهُمَّ اكْتُبْ لِيْ بِهَا عِنْدَكَ اَجْرًا، وَضَعْ عَنِّيْ بِهَا وِزْرًا، وَاجْعَلْهَا لِيْ عِنْدَكَ ذُخْرًا، وَتَقَبَّلْهَا مِنِّيْ كَمَا تَقَبَّلْتَهَا مِنْ عَبْدِكَ دَاوٗدَ
O Allah! Record for me a reward with You because of it, remove from me a sin because of it, make it for me a treasure stored with You, and accept it from me just as You accepted it from Your servant Dawood (peace be upon him).
Allahummaktub lee biha ‘indaka ajran, wada‘ ‘annee biha wizran, waj‘alha lee ‘indaka dhukhran, wa taqabbalha minnee kama taqabbaltaha min ‘abdika Dawood

Short Reminder: Duas in Sujood and Between Sujood
Sujood is the moment when a believer is closest to Allah. These beautiful and authentic duas teach us humility, hope, and complete dependence on our Lord.
1. Between Two Sujood – Asking for Forgiveness
“Rabbighfir lee” reminds us that every moment in Salah is a chance to seek Allah’s mercy. Repeating it softens the heart and cleanses the soul.
2. Between Two Sujood – Comprehensive Supplication
The longer dua gathers all essential needs of a believer: forgiveness, mercy, guidance, strength, health, provision, and elevation. It teaches us to ask Allah for both dunya and akhirah in a single breath.
3. Sujood after a Verse of Prostration – Acknowledging Allah’s Power
By saying “My face has prostrated to the One Who created it…”, we recognize Allah’s perfect creation and His blessings of hearing and sight. It is a moment of deep gratitude and humility.
4. Sujood after a Verse of Prostration – Asking for Reward and Acceptance
This dua reminds us to seek reward, forgiveness, stored treasures of the hereafter, and acceptance—just as Allah accepted from His prophets.
